Earth Day 2012

It's a great time to learn about our planet and how to take care of it! 


Earth Day is a day  on which events are held worldwide to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth's natural environment.
 In 2009, the United Nations named April 22 International Mother Earth Day.


Earth Day is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and is celebrated in more than 175 countries every year.

Earth Day Network members focus on environmental education; local, national, and global policies; public environmental campaigns; and organizing national and local earth day events to promote activism and environmental protection.

For Earth Day 2012 Earth Day Network is mobilizing the planet simply to say one thing: 

       The Earth won't wait!
